Cube Nuroad Race blue´n´black

The 2023 ‘Nuroad Race blue’n’black’ model from Cube is a versatile gravel bike, available for €1,699. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and features Gravel Comfort Geometry, which enables a comfortable yet sporty ride. The frame features flat-mount disc brakes, the option to fit mudguards and luggage racks, as well as a 12x142mm thru-axle and the AXH system.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst it weighs just 10 kg. The model’s hydraulic disc brakes are Shimano BR-RX400s and offer reliable braking performance in all weather conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX810 11-speed rear derailleur, combined with a Shimano GRX FD-R810 front derailleur. The crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 with a gear ratio of 46x30T, and the cassette is a Shimano 105 CS-HG700 with a range of 11-34T. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain.

The Nuroad Race’s fork is made entirely of carbon and is designed for flat-mount disc brakes. It also features mounting points for mudguards and a lowrider rack, as well as a 12x100mm thru-axle. The handlebars are CUBE Gravel Race Bars, wrapped in ACID Bartape CX, and the stem is a CUBE Performance Stem SLX with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a VP Z-t, with a Zero-Stack top tube of 1 1/8" (OD 44 mm) at the top and an integrated 1 1/4" at the bottom.

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround with Kevlar reinforcement, size 40-622, fitted to a CUBE GR 2.3 Disc wheelset. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec, combined with a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and an integrated seat clamp.

In total, the bike weighs around 10,400 g including packaging. The Cube Nuroad Race blue’n’black is therefore a well-equipped gravel bike, suitable for both sporty rides and longer tours.
