Cube Nuroad Pro desert´n´grey

The 2022 ‘Nuroad Pro desert’n’grey’ model from Cube is a versatile gravel bike, available at a price of 1,099 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and features Gravel Comfort Geometry. It is fitted with flat-mount disc brakes and offers options for mudguards and a luggage rack. The axle spacing is 12x142 mm and the AXH system provides additional stability.

Braking is provided by TRP Spyre MD-C610C brakes, fitted in the flat-mount version with 160 mm discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX400 10-speed rear derailleur, operated via Shimano Tiagra ST-4700 shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano GRX FD-RX400.

The Nuroad Pro’s fork is made entirely of carbon and is specifically designed for Flat Mount disc brakes. It has a tapered steerer tube ranging from 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" and offers mounting options for mudguards and lowrider pannier racks. The front axle spacing is 12x100mm. The crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 with a 46x30T gear ratio, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG50 with an 11-36T range. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Gravel Race Bars, wrapped in ACID CX bar tape for extra comfort and grip. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem SL with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset consists of a VP Z-t system, which is a Zero-Stack 1 1/8" (OD 44 mm) at the top and an integrated 1 1/4" at the bottom.

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround, size 40-622, fitted to a CUBE GR 2.3 wheelset with dimensions 622x23C. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using an integrated clamp from CUBE Nuroad.
