Cube Nuroad EX caramel´n´black

The 2023 "Nuroad EX caramel’n’black" model from Cube is a versatile gravel bike that impresses with its combination of lightness, stability and high-quality components. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and, thanks to its Gravel Comfort Geometry, offers a comfortable riding position. Weighing just 9 kg, the bike is light and agile, whilst the maximum load capacity of 115 kg provides ample space for both rider and luggage. The price for this model is 1,599 EUR.

The Nuroad EX is fitted with Shimano GRX BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with flat mount and 160 mm rotors, which ensure reliable braking power in all conditions. The derailleur is a Shimano GRX RD-RX812 with 11 speeds and a Direct Mount, enabling precise and smooth gear changes. The fork is a full-carbon CUBE Nuroad Flat Mount Disc, which not only reduces weight but also effectively dampens vibrations. It features a tapered design (1 1/8" – 1 1/4") and offers mounting points for mudguards and a lowrider.

The crankset is also from Shimano (GRX FC-RX600) and has a 40-tooth chainring. The cassette (Shimano CS-M5100) offers a range of 11–42 teeth, providing a wide variety of gear ratios for different types of terrain. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain.

The Nuroad EX’s cockpit consists of a CUBE Gravel Race Bar handlebar, wrapped in ACID Bartape CX handlebar tape, and a CUBE Performance Stem SLX stem with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a VP Z-t, featuring a zero-stack top (1 1/8", OD 44 mm) and an integrated bottom (1 1/4").

The tyres are WTB Riddler TCS Light Rolling Fast Kevlar in size 45-622, which are known for their good grip and low rolling resistance. The wheelset is a CUBE GR 2.3 Disc, which further enhances the bike’s overall performance.

Comfort is provided by the Natural Fit Venec saddle, which is mounted on a CUBE Performance Post seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using an integrated clamp from CUBE Nuroad.
