Cube Nature red´n´grey

The 2021 ‘Nature red’n’grey’ model from Cube is a versatile trekking bike that stands out for its high-quality components and robust construction. The frame is made from Superlite Trekking Cross Taper Double Butted aluminium and provides a stable yet lightweight base for the bike. Weighing 14 kg, the bike is light enough for comfortable rides without compromising on stability.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable and powerful braking. The derailleur is a Shimano RD-M360 with 8 speeds, which, in combination with the Shimano Altus SL-M315 Rapidfire-Plus shifter, ensures precise gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano Tourney FD-TX800, mounted in a topswing configuration with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, allows the rider to lock out the suspension when required, which is particularly advantageous on flat terrain. The pedals are ACID PP trekking models, which provide good grip and comfort. The crankset consists of a Shimano Tourney FC-T801 with three chainrings (48x36x26T) and a length of 175 mm, as well as a chain guard.

The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31 with a 11-34T range, whilst the drivetrain uses a KMC Z51 chain. The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars, 660 mm wide, fitted with Natural Fit All Terrain grips for optimum comfort. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The headset is a VP Integrated model with an upper size of 1 1/8" and a lower size of 1 1/2". The rims are CUBE ZX20 models with 32 spokes and disc brake mounts. The tyres are Schwalbe Land Cruiser Active, size 50-622, which provide good traction on a variety of surfaces.

The hubs are lightweight CUBE Alloy Light models with quick-release mechanisms and 6-bolt disc brake mounts at both the front and rear. The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
