Cube Kathmandu SL teak´n´green

The “Kathmandu SL teak’n’green” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-quality trekking bike available for 1,849 EUR. It features an Aluminium Superlite Trekking Comfort IC 2.0 double-butted frame, which is not only robust but also lightweight, with a total weight of 15 kg.

The bike is fitted with Shimano XT BL-T8000 brakes, with 180 mm discs at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain utilises the Shimano XT RD-T8000 system, which offers 10-speed gearing. The shift levers are also Shimano XT SL-T8000, whilst the front derailleur is a Shimano XT FD-T8000, Top Swing, 31.8 mm.

The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Mondial Kevlar, size 47-622, fitted to CUBE EX21 rims with 32 spokes and Tubeless-Ready technology. The front hub is a Shimano DH-UR700-3D hub dynamo with quick-release and CentreLock, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano XT FH-M8000 with quick-release and CentreLock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence + Comfort model, mounted on a CUBE Performance Post seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Screwlock with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

ACID 53 mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt and water, and for added functionality, the bike features an adjustable CUBEstand Pro kickstand and a CUBE Integrated Carrier 2.0 luggage rack, which is both CUBE Adapter Compatible and SnapIt Compatible.
