Cube Acid grey´n´aqua

The “Acid grey’n’aqua” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile mountain bike that stands out thanks to its high-quality components and well-thought-out design. Priced at 1049 EUR, it offers excellent value for money.

The bike’s frame is made from Aluminium Lite and features modern technologies such as AMF (Advanced Mechanical Forming), ARG (Agile Ride Geometry), internal cable routing and a tapered head tube. The frame is also designed to allow for easy fitting of a side stand and weighs a total of 13 kg.

The “Acid grey’n’aqua” is fitted with Shimano BR-MT400 hydraulic disc brakes, with 180 mm rotors at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM NX Eagle™ 12-speed system, combined with a SRAM NX Eagle™ trigger shifter, enabling precise and rapid gear changes.

Riding comfort is ensured by the RockShox Judy Silver TK Air suspension fork with 100 mm of travel and a PopLoc remote control. The pedals are CUBE PP MTB, whilst the crankset consists of a SRAM Stylo Eagle™ DUB with 32 teeth and a length of 175 mm (or 170 mm for sizes XS and S). The cassette is a SRAM PG-1210 Eagle™ with an 11–50-tooth range, offering a wide gear ratio range.

The handlebars are CUBE Rise Trail Bars with a width of 680 mm, complemented by CUBE Performance grips. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem SL with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH868p.

The rims are CUBE ZX20 with 32 spokes and disc brake mounts, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Active tyres in size 2.25. The hubs are from the Shimano Deore range: the HB-M6000 at the front and the FH-M6000 at the rear, both featuring quick-release skewers and Centre Lock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
