The “Acid 200 grey’n’orange” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a sturdy children’s bike characterised by high-quality workmanship and reliable components. Priced at 349 EUR, it offers excellent value for money.

The bike’s frame is made from Alu Lite 6061, resulting in a total weight of just 9 kg, which ensures easy handling and good manoeuvrability. The brakes are alloy V-brakes with a power modulator, providing safe and controlled braking performance.

The gear system comprises a Shimano RD-TY300 7-speed derailleur, operated via the Shimano SL-RS45 Revo Shift lever. This enables smooth and precise gear changes, ideal for young riders. The rigid Hi-Ten fork ensures stability and durability, whilst the CUBE Kid pedals are specially designed to meet children’s needs.

The crankset consists of a Samox with 36 teeth and a length of 127 mm, fitted with an aluminium chain guard. The cassette is a Sunrace MFM300.7 with a 13–34-tooth range, and power is transmitted via a KMC HV500 chain.

The handlebars are 560 mm wide CUBE Alu Lite, which, together with the Velo grips, ensure comfortable and safe handling. The stem is also made from CUBE Alu Lite and contributes to the bike’s overall stability. The headset is a CUBE A-Headset.

The rims are made of aluminium and fitted with CUBE IMPAC Smartpac tyres, which offer good grip on both the road and light off-road terrain. The front and rear hubs are also made of aluminium and are manufactured by CUBE.

The saddle is a CUBE Kid model, which, together with the CUBE Alu Lite seatpost and the corresponding saddle clamp, ensures a comfortable riding position.
