Corratec LifeS AP4

The "LifeS AP4" model from Corratec, launched in 2021, is a versatile e-bike that stands out for its high-quality features and well-thought-out technology. Priced at 2,699 EUR, this model offers excellent value for money.

The LifeS AP4’s frame has been specially developed by Corratec and is designated ‘corratec Life S’. Braking performance is provided by Shimano AMT200 brakes at the front and rear, with 180 mm front and 160 mm rear brake discs. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear, operated by the Shimano Nexus 8S gear lever.

The fork is integrated into the frame and ensures a stable and comfortable ride. Adequate lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR GO e-bike front light and the Axa Compactline 20 rear light. The crankset consists of the ZZYZX E-Power Crank with 38 teeth, whilst the sprocket is a Shimano Nexus 16T for the 8-speed system. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC Chain Z1 chain.

The handlebars are Ergotec EWG drop bars, combined with an Ergotec Cobra stem, ensuring an ergonomic and comfortable riding position. The tyres are Innova 20" x 3.0, fitted to a ZZYZX 20" wheelset. The saddle is the ZZYZX Comfort Saddle, fitted to a ZZYZX Alloy seatpost.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, combined with a Bosch PowerPack 400Wh battery, which ensures a sufficient range. The Bosch Purion display allows for simple and intuitive control of the various assistance levels and shows important information such as speed and battery level.
