Conway RLC FS 6.9

The "RLC FS 6.9" model from Conway, released in 2024, offers an impressive combination of high-quality components and well-thought-out design at a price of 3,499 euros. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of just 12 kg, this bike is both robust and lightweight, making it ideal for challenging trails and long rides.

The braking system comprises SHIMANO “Deore XT BR-M8100” brakes and SHIMANO “Deore XT BL-M8100” brake levers, which, in combination with the SHIMANO “RT-MT800” brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear), ensure reliable and precise braking performance. The 12-speed SHIMANO “XT” derailleur, controlled by the SHIMANO “Deore XT SL-M8100” shifter, enables smooth and efficient gear changes, supported by the SHIMANO “CS-M7100” sprocket set with a 10–51-tooth range.

The suspension consists of a FOX “Performance 32 Float SC” fork with 120 mm of travel and a FOX “Float DPS” shock with 100 mm of travel, which together provide excellent damping characteristics on uneven terrain. The frame is fitted with a CONWAY “Alloy light flat” handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 740 mm, complemented by SQlab “70X” grips for optimum grip. The stem is also by CONWAY and measures 80 mm with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The wheels consist of DT SWISS “X1900” rims and hubs, with DT SWISS spokes, which, together with SCHWALBE “Racing Ray” tyres at the front and SCHWALBE “Racing Ralph” tyres at the rear, ensure excellent traction and stability. The saddle is a CONWAY “1489 sport light”, mounted on a CONWAY “Alloy light” seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm.

In terms of geometry, the bike has a stack height of 595 mm, a seat tube length of 465 mm and a top tube length of 600 mm. The seat tube angle is 72 degrees, whilst the head tube length is 105 mm. The chainstay length is 445 mm and the wheelbase is 1147 mm, giving the bike balanced and stable handling characteristics. Overall, the Conway RLC FS 6.9 is a well-equipped mountain bike that is suitable for both ambitious amateur riders and experienced cyclists.
