Conway MC 5.0

Conway’s “MC 5.0” model from 2023 offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort at an attractive price of 999 euros. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium, ensuring a lightweight yet robust ride. Fitted with hydraulic disc brakes and TEKTRO “HD-M280” brake levers, the model guarantees reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The 18-speed SHIMANO “Cues 4000” derailleur allows for precise and easy gear changes, making it ideal for both city cycling and more challenging routes.

The RST “Blaze RLO” fork, with 100 mm of travel, provides additional comfort by absorbing bumps on the road or off-road. The Welgo “C280DU” pedals feature a one-piece design, which contributes to stability and efficiency when pedalling. The SHIMANO “BB-UN100” bottom bracket and the SHIMANO “FC-U4000” crankset, with 22/36 teeth and a length of 170 mm, provide a solid foundation for power transfer.

The handlebars – a CONWAY Riser with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm – together with the CONWAY “Sport” grips, ensure comfortable and controlled steering. The stem is also by CONWAY and blends seamlessly into the overall design. The RODI “Blackrock 23” rims, combined with IMPAC “Smartpac” tyres and black steel spokes, offer stability and reliability on a variety of surfaces.

The bike is fitted with a SHIMANO “DH3D37” hub dynamo at the front and a SHIMANO “FH-TX505” hub at the rear, which enable efficient power transfer. The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle offers ergonomic comfort for longer rides, whilst the CONWAY Patent seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, provides additional support.

For added protection, SKS “Velo 65 Mountain” mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt and spray. The URSUS “Mooi” kickstand, measuring 40 mm in length, ensures stability when parking the bike. The model is listed under the code RAD MC 5.0 HE. 27/XS and offers a well-thought-out specification for versatile use.
