Conway MC 260 suspension

Conway’s “MC 260 suspension” model from 2023 is a versatile bicycle designed specifically for young riders. Priced at 449 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made of aluminium in a diamond shape with a frame size of 31 cm and contributes to a total weight of 13 kg. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg, which is sufficient for the target group of young people.

The bike is equipped with a reliable SACCON ‘V-Brake’ braking system with TEKTRO brake levers, ensuring safe braking performance at both the front and rear. The gear system is a 9-speed SHIMANO “Altus”, operated by the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M370” shifter, and allows for precise gear selection. The SUNTOUR “M3030” fork offers 63 mm of suspension travel, providing additional comfort on uneven terrain.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with an AXA “Ecoline 15” LED front light, which provides a light output of 15 lux, and a SPANNINGA “Pixeo” rear light. Power is supplied by a SHIMANO “DHC3000” QR hub dynamo, which is integrated into the front wheel hub.

The bike features an aluminium crankset with 32 teeth and a crank length of 160 mm, as well as a SHIMANO “HG200” cassette with a range of 11–34 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC “X9” chain. The handlebars are 580 mm wide and fitted with CONWAY “Junior” grips, which provide a secure grip. The stem is a ONE Sport A-Head model.

The rims are CONWAY hollow-wall “J 19” and the tyres are IMPAC “Big Pac” with dimensions of 55-559 and reflective strips for improved visibility. The front hub is a SHIMANO hub dynamo and the rear hub is a KT aluminium hub, both fitted with quick-release skewers. The saddle is a CONWAY “Junior” model, mounted on a ONE Sport seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.

Plastic mudguards protect against splashes and dirt, whilst an aluminium kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. Overall, the Conway MC 260 suspension boasts well-thought-out features and solid build quality, making it a good choice for young cyclists looking for a reliable and well-equipped bike.
