Conway eWME 8.9 MX

The Conway eWME 8.9 MX, launched in 2024, is a high-quality e-mountain bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The frame is made of aluminium and is designed as a Fully Intube EP8, indicating that the battery is fully integrated into the frame. With a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 24 kg, the bike provides a solid foundation for challenging rides.

The eWME 8.9 MX’s braking system is fitted with MAGURA “MT5 eStop” brakes and brake levers, which ensure reliable deceleration. These components offer optimum comfort and control on rough terrain. The drivetrain is powered by the SHIMANO “EP800” mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 W, which draws its energy from a Darfon “Intube 720” lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 720 Wh.

The eWME 8.9 MX features high-quality DT SWISS “Spline HX1501” rims in sizes 27.5” at the rear and 29” at the front, fitted with SCHWALBE tyres: the “Magic Mary” at the front and the “Hans Dampf” at the rear. This combination offers excellent grip and stability. The ERGOTEC handlebars, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 780 mm, together with the ERGOTEC “Bass 45” stem, contribute to the bike’s precise handling.

A FIZIK “Aidon” saddle, together with the FOX “Transfer Factory” seatpost, ensures comfort even on longer rides. The bike is fitted with a SHIMANO “SC-EM800” display, which offers three levels of assistance as well as a push assist function.
