Conway eWME 329

The 2021 Conway eWME 329 is a high-quality e-mountain bike which, at a price of 4,699 euros, is positioned in the mid-range segment. This model stands out thanks to its robust aluminium frame, which was specially developed to accommodate a Shimano motor. The motor is a powerful Shimano mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 watts, which, combined with a 630 Wh Shimano lithium-ion battery, provides impressive assistance.

The eWME 329 is designed for a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg, making it a solid choice for riders seeking stability and reliability. The brakes are Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston calipers, which, in conjunction with the Shimano BL-M4100 brake levers, ensure excellent braking performance. 203 mm Shimano brake discs are fitted at the front and rear, providing reliable braking power even on challenging descents.

The Rodi Ready 35 rims are fitted with Schwalbe tyres: a Magic Mary Soft at the front and a Hans Dampf Soft at the rear, both in size 60-622. This combination offers excellent traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT400 at the front and FH-MT400B at the rear, complemented by Niro spokes.

The Fizik Aidon Regular 145 saddle offers comfort for longer rides, whilst the Contec Drop-A-Gogo seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, allows for easy adjustment of the seat height. The Shimano SC-EM800 display provides a clear overview of the riding modes and includes a push assist, which makes handling the bike easier in challenging situations.
