Conway Cairon TF 1.7 Wave

The "Cairon TF 1.7 Wave" model from Conway, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The price for this model is 2499 EUR. It features a Wave-shaped aluminium frame with a frame height of 46 cm. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg.

The braking system consists of SHIMANO “BR-MT200” brakes and “BL-MT200” brake levers, complemented by SHIMANO “SM-RT30” brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear. The 7-speed gear system is controlled by the SHIMANO “Nexus” LL and the “Nexus SL-C3000” gear lever, ensuring reliable and precise gear changes.

The RST “Blaze T” fork, with 80 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride. The lighting comprises the CONTEC “DLUX 50 E+” front light and the CONTEC “CTL 335 E” rear light, which ensure good visibility in traffic. The bike is fitted with Marwie “SP 827” pedals and a BOSCH bottom bracket, whilst the crankset is an FSA “CK-200” with a length of 170 mm.

The drivetrain is powered by a KMC “Z610 EPT” chain, supported by a third-generation BOSCH “Active Line PLUS” mid-drive motor, which delivers a continuous rated power output of 250 W at a voltage of 36 V. The battery, a BOSCH “Powerpack 400” lithium-ion battery, has a capacity of 400 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 2 Ah charger. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display offers four assistance levels and a push-assist function.

Other features include the HUMPERT “Ergotec Ladytown” handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 620 mm, as well as the HUMPERT “Ergotec Octopus” stem, which is adjustable and has a length of 90 mm. The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Moderat Ergo”, mounted on a HUMPERT “Ergotec SP10” seatpost with a length of 350 mm.

The bike is fitted with CONTINENTAL “Contact Urban” tyres in size 50-622, mounted on CONWAY “X17” hollow-section rims. The hubs are a SHIMANO “HB-TX505” QR at the front and a SHIMANO “Nexus SG-C3001” 7-speed at the rear. LL. The bike is also fitted with SKS “A60S” plastic mudguards, a HESLING “Move” chain guard, an URSUS “Wave” kickstand and an AXA “Bock XXL” lock. The bike’s geometry features a stack of 640 mm, a seat tube length of 460 mm, a top tube of 600 mm and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. The head tube measures 150 mm, the chainstay length is 485 mm and the wheelbase is 1168 mm. These dimensions contribute to a stable and comfortable riding position.
