Conway Cairon T 170 400

The “Cairon T 170 400” model from Conway, released in 2021, is an e-bike priced at 2,299 euros. It is fitted with a robust CONWAY Wave Bosch aluminium frame and is designed for a maximum permissible weight of up to 130 kg. The braking system consists of SHIMANO “BR-MT200” brakes and the corresponding “BL-MT200” brake levers, whilst the brake discs at both the front and rear have a diameter of 180 mm.

Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO “Nexus” 7-speed system, controlled via the corresponding gear lever. Suspension is provided by the RST “Blaze T” fork with 80 mm of travel. The lighting comprises the HERRMANS “MR GO 30” front light for e-bikes and the AXA “Blueline” LED rear light, ensuring good visibility.

The bike is fitted with Marwie “SP 827” pedals, whilst the drive is powered by a KMC “Z610X EPT” chain. The FSA “CK-200” crankset, with a length of 170 mm and a 38-tooth chainring, and the SHIMANO 18-tooth chainring complete the drivetrain. The ERGOTEC “Ladytown” handlebars have a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 620 mm, allowing for comfortable handling. The grips are HERRMANS “DD37”, and the stem is an adjustable ERGOTEC “Octopus”.

The rims are CONWAY “X6” hollow-section rims for disc brakes, and the tyres are SCHWALBE “Energizer Active Plus” with reflective strips, fitted in size 50-622 at both the front and rear. The front hub is a SHIMANO “HB-TX505” QR and the rear hub is a SHIMANO “Nexus” with 7 speeds. The bike is completed with stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Moderat Ergo”, paired with an ERGOTEC “SP10” seatpost. Plastic mudguards from SKS protect against splashes, whilst the HESLING Move chain guard covers the chain. An aluminium URSUS kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, and an AXA “Bock XXL” lock provides additional security.

The ATRAN “Cummute Pro” luggage rack, complete with a spring-loaded flap, allows for the transport of luggage. Power is provided by a third-generation BOSCH Active Line PLUS mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 W at 36 V. The battery is a BOSCH lithium-ion model with a BMS, a voltage of 36 V, a capacity of 11.11 Ah and an energy density of 400 Wh. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display features a 4-level indicator, remote control and a push-assist function to optimise the riding experience.
