Cannondale Synapse Carbon LTD RLE

The "Synapse Carbon LTD RLE" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 is a high-quality road bike designed for demanding riders. The price for this model is EUR 6999. The frame is made of Synapse Carbon and is SmartSense-capable. It features a Proportional Response Design, which is size-adjusted, a BSA threaded bottom bracket, a flat-mount brake mount and a 12x142mm thru-axle.

The braking system uses Shimano GRX 800 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm RT800 rotors at the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano GRX 800 and offer precise control. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX 815 Di2 system with Shadow RD+ technology. The rear derailleur is controlled by Shimano GRX 800 hydraulic shifters with 11 gears, and the front derailleur is a Shimano GRX 815 Di2 with braze-on attachment. The bike offers a total of 22 gears.

The fork is also made from Synapse Carbon and has an integrated headset and a size-dependent proportional response design. It has a 12x100mm thru-axle, internal cable routing and hidden mudguard mounts. The lighting system includes a SmartSense front light and a SmartSense rear light with integrated radar.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano R60 BSA, while the crankset consists of a Shimano GRX 810 with BSA thread and a gear ratio of 48/31. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra HG800 with a gradation of 11-34 and 11 gears. The drive is provided by a Shimano HG701 chain.

The handlebars are a carbon HollowGram SAVE SystemBar with an 8-degree tilt adjustment, the grips are made of Fabric Knurl Bar Tape. The stem is a HollowGram SAVE made of aluminium with an angle of -6°. The headset is an integrated, sealed bearing system from Synapse.

The bike has HollowGram 45 KNØT carbon rims with a depth of 45mm and an inner width of 21mm, which are tubeless-ready. The tyres are WTB Exposure TCS with a size of 700x30c and Distance Compound, also tubeless-ready. The hubs are HollowGram KNØT front and rear with sealed bearings and DT Swiss internals, the spokes are Formula Grand Forza Straight-Pull.

The saddle is a Fizik Tempo Argo R5 with a width of 150mm and S-Alloy rails, while the seatpost is a HollowGram SAVE Carbon SmartSense measuring 27.2x350mm (for frame sizes 48-56) or 400mm (for frame sizes 58-61). The gross weight of the bike is 32000 grams. Pedals are not included in the scope of delivery.
