Cannondale SuperSix EVO LAB71

The 2024 "SuperSix EVO LAB71" model from Cannondale is a state-of-the-art road bike characterised by its advanced technology and high-quality components. With a price tag of EUR 14,999, it belongs to the premium class of racing bikes.

The frame of the SuperSix EVO LAB71 is made of ultra-light Series 0 carbon and features integrated cable routing with switchplate, a 12x142 Syntace thru-axle and a BSA 68mm threaded bottom bracket shell. The fork is also made from LAB71 SuperSix EVO carbon and features an integrated crown, 12x100mm Syntace thru-axle, flat disc brake mount, internal cable routing and a 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" Delta steerer tube with 55mm offset for frame sizes 44-54cm and 45mm offset for frame sizes 56-61cm.

The brake system consists of Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm or 140mm MT900 rotors. The brake levers are also from Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9270 and offer precise hydraulic control. Shifting is realised by the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9250 system, which uses wireless shift levers (R9270) for a 2x12-speed configuration. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9250.

The drive is provided by a Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 crankset with 52/36 teeth and a Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 cassette with a gradation of 11-30, allowing a total of 24 gears. The bottom bracket is a CeramicSpeed BSA for Shimano Road in the coated version, which ensures particularly low-friction power transmission.

The handlebars and stem are designed as an integrated unit made of full carbon (Cannondale SystemBar R-One) and offer an aerodynamic shape with internal cable routing. The grips are Fizik Tempo Bondcush Soft with a thickness of 3mm. The headset is integrated and ranges from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4".

The wheels consist of HollowGram R-SL 50 carbon rims with a depth of 50mm and an internal width of 21mm, which are tubeless ready. The front hub is a HollowGram with sealed bearings and a 12x100mm centrelock mount, while the rear hub is also a HollowGram, but with DT Swiss 240 internals and a 12x142mm centrelock mount. The spokes are DT Swiss Aerolite, straight pull.

The saddle is a Fizik Vento Argo 00 Carbon, mounted on a Cannondale C1 Aero 40 Carbon seatpost, which has an offset of 0mm (44-48cm) or 20mm (51-61cm) depending on the frame size. The tyres are Continental Grand Prix 5000 in size 700x25c.
