Cannondale Quick 4

The 2024 Cannondale Quick 4 is a versatile and robust bike that stands out for its high-quality build and well-thought-out features. Priced at 899 EUR, it offers excellent value for money.

The Quick 4’s frame is made from SmartForm C3 Alloy and features SAVE technology, which provides additional comfort. The frame is fitted with a tapered head tube and allows for hidden cable routing (Straightshot hidden cable routing), which contributes to a clean and tidy appearance. The frame also offers mounting points for a luggage rack and mudguards, as well as 360° reflectivity for improved visibility in traffic.

Reliable braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors. The brake levers are also from Tektro and offer precise and responsive control.

The Quick 4’s gear system is supplied by microSHIFT Advent and comprises a 9-speed drivetrain. The gear lever is also from microSHIFT Advent and offers easy operation and precise gear changes. The drivetrain consists of a KMC Z9 chain and a Prowheel crankset with 38 teeth. The microSHIFT cassette offers a gear range of 11–42 teeth, ensuring a good balance between speed and climbing ability.

The Quick 4’s fork is made of steel and features a 1-1/8" head tube as well as an OutFront offset design, which ensures stable and agile handling. The fork is also designed for disc brakes and has centre-mounted mounting points.

The bike is fitted with Cannondale Fitness pedals and features a cartridge bottom bracket with a square taper. The handlebars are made from double-butted 6061 aluminium, are 640 mm wide, have a rise of 25 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The grips are ergonomic Cannondale Ergo Fitness Dual Density grips with a lock-on function, which provide additional comfort. The stem is a Cannondale 3 with Intellimount functionality and is also made of aluminium.

Cannondale Disc rims are used for the wheels; these are double-walled and feature eyelets. The hubs are made from sealed aluminium and are fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms. The spokes are made of stainless steel and have a gauge of 14g. The tyres are Schwalbe Spicer in size 700 x 35c with K-Guard puncture protection and reflective strips for added safety.

The saddle is a Cannondale Fitness Ergo Double Density saddle, mounted on a 6061 aluminium seatpost measuring 27.2 x 350 mm.

Weighing 36 kg in total, the Cannondale Quick 4 is a sturdy and reliable bike, suitable for both daily commuting and longer leisure rides.
