Cannondale Quick 2

The 2024 Cannondale Quick 2 is a versatile, high-quality bike that is ideal for urban riding and fitness rides. Priced at 1,349 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of performance and features.

The Quick 2’s frame is made from SmartForm C3 aluminium and features SAVE technology, which provides improved shock absorption. The frame is also fitted with a tapered head tube, Straightshot concealed cable routing, a flat disc brake mount, and mounts for a luggage rack and mudguards. The 360° reflectors enhance visibility and safety on the road.

Reliable braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at the front and 140 mm rotors at the rear. Gear changes are handled by the microSHIFT Advent X system, which offers 9 speeds and, in combination with the Shimano Sora front derailleur and microSHIFT Advent X shift levers, enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The full-carbon fork, featuring a 12x100 mm thru-axle system and a tapered head tube, contributes to the bike’s lightness and stiffness, whilst the flat disc brake mounts and mudguard mounts offer additional practical benefits. The pedals are made from reinforced composite material by Cannondale Fitness.

The drivetrain comprises a square-taper cartridge bottom bracket, a Prowheel crankset with 38 teeth, and a microSHIFT Advent X cassette with a gear range of 11–48 teeth. The KMC Z9 chain ensures efficient power transfer.

The handlebars are Cannondale 3 Riser made from 6061 aluminium, with a width of 680 mm, a rise of 18 mm, a backsweep of 8 degrees and an upsweep of 4 degrees. The ergonomic Cannondale grips offer a high level of comfort and a secure grip.

The bike is fitted with Cannondale Disc rims, which are double-walled and feature eyelets, as well as Schwalbe Lugano tyres in size 700x32c with K-Guard puncture protection and reflective strips. The hubs are from Formula, with the front hub being the CRX-512 model (12x100 mm) and the rear hub the DC-1422 QR model. The spokes are made of stainless steel.

The Cannondale Fitness Ergo Double Density saddle and the Cannondale 3 seatpost, made from 6061 aluminium (27.2x350 mm), provide additional comfort and adjustability.

With a gross weight of 36 kg, the Quick 2 offers balanced geometry with a reach of 398 mm, a stack of 554 mm, a seat tube length of 400 mm, a top tube length of 567 mm, a head tube angle of 71 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. The head tube length is 133 mm, the chainstay length 435 mm, the fork offset 55 mm, the top tube height 699 mm and the wheelbase 1053 mm.
