Cannondale Quick 1

Cannondale’s “Quick 1” model from 2024 is a versatile, high-quality bike that is ideal for both urban use and sporty rides. Priced at 1,549 EUR, this bike offers impressive features and modern technology.

The Quick 1’s frame is made from SmartForm C3 Alloy and features SAVE technology, which provides improved shock absorption. The frame is fitted with a tapered head tube and features Straightshot hidden cable routing, ensuring a clean look and protecting the cables. It also features integrated flat-mount brake mounts, luggage rack and mudguard mounts, as well as 360° reflectivity for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (MT201-UR300) with 160 mm RT56 rotors at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance in all weather conditions. The gear system is also of high quality: The bike is fitted with a Shimano 105 GS rear derailleur and Shimano RS700 FB shift levers, which enable precise 11-speed shifting. The front derailleur is a Shimano 105 with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The Quick 1’s fork is made entirely of carbon and features a 12x100 mm thru-axle as well as a tapered head tube diameter ranging from 1-1/4" to 1-1/8". It also features flat-mount brake mounts and mudguard mounts, as well as 360° reflectivity.

The bottom bracket is an FSA MegaExo, and the crankset is an FSA Omega ME Alloy with a 50/34-tooth configuration. The cassette is a Shimano 105 with a range of 11–32 teeth, which, in combination with the Shimano HG601 drivetrain, offers optimum power transfer and efficiency.

The Quick 1’s handlebars are Cannondale 3 Riser made from 6061 aluminium, with a width of 680 mm, a rise of 18 mm, a backsweep of 8 degrees and an upsweep of 4 degrees. The grips are Cannondale Ergo Fitness Dual Density with a lock-on function for a secure grip. The stem is a Cannondale 3 with Intellimount, made from aluminium with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The wheels feature Cannondale Disc rims, which are double-walled and fitted with eyelets. The tyres are Schwalbe Lugano in size 700x32c with K-Guard puncture protection and reflective strips for added safety. The hubs are by Formula: the CRX-512 model (12x100 mm) at the front and the CX-22 model (QR) at the rear. The spokes are made of stainless steel with a gauge of 14g.

The saddle is a Cannondale Fitness Ergo Double Density, which offers comfort even on longer rides. The seatpost is a Cannondale 3 made from 6061 aluminium, measuring 27.2x350 mm.

With a gross weight of 36,000 g, the Quick 1 is a robust yet lightweight bike that impresses with its high-quality components and well-thought-out design.
