Cannondale Adventure EQ

The Cannondale Adventure EQ model from 2024 is a versatile and well-equipped bike that is available for a price of EUR 999. The bike's frame is made from SmartForm C3 Alloy with SAVE technology and features a low step-through height, tapered head tube and straightshot cable routing. The bike is equipped with disc brakes and mounts for pannier racks and mudguards.

The braking system includes Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors both front and rear. The gears are controlled by the microSHIFT Acolyte system with 8 gears, whereby the gear lever is also from microSHIFT. The front fork is a Suntour NEX-E25 with a suspension travel of 50 mm, which provides additional comfort on uneven roads.

Lighting is provided by Spanninga front and rear lights, which ensure good visibility in poor light conditions. The bike is also equipped with reinforced nylon folding pedals. The bottom bracket is a cartridge model with a square cone, and the crankset comes from Prowheel with a 38T chainring. The sprocket is a microSHIFT model with a gradation of 12-42 teeth.

The handlebars are made of Cannondale Riser 6061 Alloy with a width of 685 mm, a rise of 60 mm and a backsweep of 15 degrees. The grips are made from Cannondale dual density material. The stem can be rotated by 90 degrees and has an angle of 7 degrees. The headset is semi-integrated and tapers from 1.5" to 1 1/8".

The rims are Cannondale Disc models with double wall thickness and eyelets, fitted with Goodyear Transit Tour tyres in size 27.5 x 2.0". The hubs are a Shimano Dynamo DH-3D37 at the front and a Formula CL-1422 at the rear, both with quick releases. The spokes are made of stainless steel and have a thickness of 14g.

The saddle is a Cannondale Ergo Comfort model, mounted on a 27.2x300 mm suspension seatpost. The bike has aluminium mudguards, a dropout-mounted kickstand and a rear pannier rack.

The total weight of the bike is 46 kg.
