BH Bikes LYNX TRAIL 9.9

The "LYNX TRAIL 9.9" model from BH Bikes, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike priced at 6,999 EUR. It features a lightweight and robust carbon frame with a maximum load capacity of up to 165 kg and a kerb weight of just 13 kg.

The bike’s brakes are fitted with Shimano XTR Enduro 180mm disc brakes, which deliver outstanding braking performance. The derailleurs and shift levers are also from the Shimano XTR 9100 series and offer 12 speeds, enabling precise and smooth gear changes.

Suspension is provided by a Fox 36 Factory Grip 2 fork with 150 mm of travel and a Fox X2 Evol LV shock, which also offers 150 mm of travel. This combination ensures optimum damping and control on challenging trails. The bottom bracket is by Shimano, whilst the crankset is a Race Face Next R SuperBoost with 30 teeth and a length of 170 mm.

The bike’s drivetrain is powered by Shimano XTR components. The handlebars are BH Trail Carbon, with a width of 800 mm, a rise of 10 mm and a back sweep of 9 degrees. The grips are BH Control Grips, which provide additional comfort. The stem is a BH TRAIL, 45 mm long and 35 mm in diameter.

The steering system consists of an Acros ICR FIT headset with Block Lock 160. The tyres are Maxxis High Roller EXO, 3C, 2.35, fitted to a Race Face Next R Carbon wheelset, which has a width of 31 mm and features the SuperBoost system. The saddle is a Scratch X8, and the seatpost is a Bike Yoke Revive with a diameter of 31.6 mm, a length of 400 mm and a drop of 160 mm.

The geometry of the LYNX TRAIL 9.9 comprises a reach of 475 mm, a stack of 619 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm, a top tube length of 605 mm, a head tube angle of 65 degrees, a seat tube angle of 77 degrees, a head tube length of 110 mm, a chainstay length of 435 mm and a bottom bracket height of 338 mm. This geometry ensures a balanced riding position and excellent control on technical routes.
