BH Bikes iLYNX TRAIL 8.1

The "iLYNX TRAIL 8.1" model from BH Bikes, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed specifically for challenging trails. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy, which gives the bike excellent stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 165 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 22 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT420 4-piston brakes with 203 mm discs, which operate reliably even in difficult conditions. The drivetrain is a Shimano XT 12-speed system, controlled by Shimano Deore shifters, enabling precise and rapid gear changes.

The suspension consists of a FOX 34 FLOAT Rhythm fork with 140 mm of travel and a FOX FLOAT DPS Performance shock, also with 140 mm of travel, which ensures excellent damping and control. The drivetrain is provided by an FSA crankset with a 34T chainring and a 165 mm length, along with a Shimano CNM6100 chain.

The bike is fitted with Race Face Aeffect Riser handlebars, 780 mm wide, and Ergon GE10 grips, ensuring comfortable and safe handling. The stem is a BH Evo 35 Fit, and the headset is an Acros AZX-581 BL.

Maxxis Minion TPI120 Terra EXO TR tyres, sized 29x2.5 at the front and 29x2.4 at the rear, provide contact with the ground; they are fitted to Race Face Ar 30 TR wheelsets with stainless steel spokes. The hubs are manufactured by BH. The saddle is a Prologo Proxim W350 Stn, fitted to a Race Face DP Aeffect seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.

Power is provided by a BH 2EXMAG-II motor, powered by an NR System battery with a capacity of 540 Wh. Control is via the BH i-Remote display.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 475 mm, a stack of 615 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm and a top tube length of 619 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees, which allows for a balanced and comfortable riding position. The head tube length is 110 mm, the chainstay length is 451 mm and the bottom bracket height is 339 mm.
