BH Bikes CORE RACE 1.4

The CORE RACE 1.4 model from BH Bikes, released in 2023, is a high-quality bicycle that impresses with both its technical specifications and its features. The bike’s frame is made from a lightweight yet robust aluminium alloy, resulting in a total weight of just 15 kg. The maximum load capacity is 165 kg, ensuring high load-bearing capacity and stability.

The CORE RACE 1.4 is fitted with a Shimano Ultegra 11-speed groupset, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The shift levers, front derailleur and brake levers are also from the Shimano 105 series, ensuring high reliability and durability. The brakes are Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear, ensuring excellent braking performance.

The bike’s fork is a BH Race Carbon ACR, which provides additional stiffness and comfort. The FSA crankset with 50/34T chainrings and the Shimano Ultegra cassette with an 11–34T range offer a wide gear ratio for various types of terrain. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano HG70 chain.

The handlebars are FSA Energy SCR Compact, which, together with the BH Lite Ahead stem and the FSA ACR headset, ensure an ergonomic and comfortable riding position. The grips and handlebar tape are made from Bar Tape, which offers additional comfort.

The tyres are Hutchinson Nitro 2 in size 700x28, fitted to an FSA Team 35 TR wheelset. The hubs and spokes are also from FSA and made of stainless steel, ensuring high durability. The saddle is a Prologo Dimension Stn, mounted on a Lite Alloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.

Additional features include the Xpro Battery and a BH Core display, which shows all the key information. The motor is a BH 2EXMAG, which, in combination with an NR System battery with a capacity of 540 Wh, provides powerful assistance.

The bike’s geometry is also well thought out: the reach is 401 mm, the stack is 577 mm, the seat tube length is 510 mm, the top tube length is 583 mm, the head tube angle is 73 degrees, the seat tube angle is also 73 degrees, the head tube length is 175 mm and the chainstay length is 420 mm. The bottom bracket height is 270 mm.
