BH Bikes CORE CITY WAVE

The "CORE CITY WAVE" model from BH Bikes, launched in 2023, is a versatile and robust e-bike that is ideal for city commuting and longer rides. Priced at 2,699 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability. The bike’s frame is made from a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium alloy, contributing to a total weight of 22 kg. The maximum permissible weight is 165 kg, allowing for a high payload.

The bike is fitted with high-quality Shimano MT200 brakes, which feature 180 mm brake discs at both the front and rear to ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Acera 8-speed groupset, which enables precise and smooth shifting. The crankset consists of FSA components with a 38T-170mm chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano HG31 8-speed (11-32T).

The wheelset consists of Alloy Double Wall rims with Shimano hubs and stainless steel spokes, fitted with Kenda K1129 700x45C tyres.

A particular highlight of the CORE CITY WAVE is the integrated BH 2EXMAG motor, combined with an NR System battery with a capacity of 540 Wh. The BH X Display provides all the key information at a glance and helps the rider control the e-bike. Other practical features include the Racktime luggage rack, mudguards, a chain guard, a kickstand and an Axa Block lock.

The bike’s geometry is thoughtfully designed: with a reach of 454 mm, a stack of 652 mm, a seat tube length of 652 mm and a top tube length of 630 mm, the bike offers a balanced riding position. The head tube angle is 70 degrees, the seat tube angle 75 degrees, the head tube length 160 mm and the chainstay length 455 mm. The bottom bracket height is 286 mm.
