BH Bikes ATOM CROSS

The "ATOM CROSS" from BH Bikes, launched in 2023, is a versatile bike designed for both everyday use and sporty rides. Priced at 2,099 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy, which gives the bike a high level of stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 165 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 23 kg.

The ATOM CROSS’s braking system comprises Shimano MT200 brakes with 180 mm rotors at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also Shimano MT200, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear changes are facilitated by Shimano Acera 8-speed components, including the shift levers and cassette (Shimano HG200 8-speed with 11-32T). The crankset is from FSA and has 38 teeth with a length of 170 mm.

The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides comfortable suspension and enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain. The pedals are fitted with a non-slip surface to ensure a secure grip. The handlebars are BH MTB Alloy Riser, 720 mm wide, combined with ergonomic grips from BH and a BH Ahead stem.

The wheels are made from a double-walled aluminium alloy and fitted with Kenda K1129 tyres in size 700x45C. Both the front and rear hubs are by Shimano and the spokes are made of stainless steel, which contributes to the durability of the wheelset. The saddle is a comfortable Selle Royal Freccia Gel, mounted on an alloy seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a quick-release saddle clamp.

Additional features include a kickstand and a winter battery cover. The bike is powered by a BH 1E-36V motor, which, in combination with a TS System battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, provides powerful assistance. The BH X Display Lite provides a clear display of all key information whilst riding.

The geometry of the ATOM CROSS comprises the following measurements: a reach of 465 mm, a stack of 648 mm, a seat tube length of 550 mm, a top tube length of 657 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 160 mm, a chainstay length of 465 mm and a bottom bracket height of 306 mm. These dimensions contribute to a balanced and comfortable riding position.
