Bergamont Sweep 6 EQ

The "Sweep 6 EQ" model from Bergamont, released in 2022, is a versatile bicycle characterised by a balanced combination of lightness and robust features. The frame is constructed from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 28-inch wheels. With a maximum load capacity of 125 kg and a kerb weight of just 12 kg, the Sweep 6 EQ provides a solid foundation for a variety of uses.

The Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with SM-RT30 rotors (160/160 mm), ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers complement the braking system perfectly and offer precise control. The gear system consists of the Shimano Tiagra series, including the RD-4700 rear derailleur with a long cage and the SL-4700 shift levers for a 2×10-speed drivetrain. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Tiagra FD-4700.

The Sweep 6 EQ’s aluminium fork features a quick-release mechanism and a mount for mudguards, which expands its versatility in a range of weather conditions. The pedals are Wellgo LU895, whilst the bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II BSA. The crankset (Shimano Tiagra FC-4700) offers a 50/34t gear ratio, and the cassette (Shimano CS-HG500) covers a range of 11–34t. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars (Syncros 2.5, riser-style) are 660 mm wide and are fitted with Syncros Urban grips. The stem (Syncros RR2.5) has an angle of +/- 6°. The headset consists of a BGM F13-C A-Headset, which is semi-integrated and tapered. The rims are Shining DB-T260 Disc, whilst the tyres are Schwalbe Spicer with Kevlarguard and reflective strips (35-622).

The hubs (BGM Pro) are centre-lock disc hubs fitted with quick-release skewers, and the spokes are made of black stainless steel. The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a Syncros 2.5 seatpost. The bike is also fitted with BGM Allroad mudguards (40 mm) and a Racktime / BGM Allroad Carrier luggage rack with the SnapIt system.
