Bergamont E-Ville Expert

The "E-Ville Expert" model from Bergamont, launched in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike designed for urban use and characterised by its well-thought-out features. The frame is made from lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is designed to accommodate 28-inch tyres. The integrated PowerTube battery ensures a clean, uncluttered appearance and optimal weight distribution. The maximum permissible weight is 160 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, specifically the BR-MT420 with four pistons. The brake levers are also from Shimano and are designated BL-MT402. An 180 mm brake disc is fitted at the front and a 160 mm brake disc at the rear, both of the Shimano SM-RT10 type. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever with five gears, operated by a Revo-shifter.

The front fork is a Suntour Mobie 25 RLR DS with 100 mm of travel and a 15x100 mm axle, which provides additional comfort and control. For lighting, a B&M IQ-XS LED light with 80 lux is fitted at the front and a B&M Toplight Line brex LED light with a brake light function at the rear. The aluminium trekking pedals provide a secure grip.

The E-Ville Expert is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 250 W and 36 V, which provides maximum assistance up to 25 km/h. Power is supplied by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The system is controlled via the Bosch Kiox display, which offers a wide range of information and functions. The battery is charged using the Bosch Standard Charger, which delivers a charging current of 4A.

Further features include the FSA CK-745 crankset with 38 teeth, a Shimano CS-C7000 cassette with 27 teeth, and a KMC Z1eHX Wide EPT chain. The handlebars are BGM Pro Riserbars with a 15° backsweep and a 5 mm rise, complemented by BGM Comfort Ergo grips in the clamp version. The stem is a BGM e-bike model, which is adjustable to accommodate the Kiox display. The headset is a semi-integrated Acros A-Headset with integrated cable routing.

The Ryde Rival 23 rims are fitted with Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, which ensure safety and durability thanks to their Smart Dual Guard technology and reflective strips. The hubs are by Shimano: the HB-MT400 at the front and the Nexus SG-C7000-5 at the rear. The spokes are Sapim Leader models.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin BGM Basic Athletic, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost. Racktime Wingee mudguards and a Syncros kickstand complete the spec. The luggage rack is a Racktime E-Ville Carrier with the Snapit 2.0 system, which offers versatile carrying options.
