Bergamont E-Ville Elite

The 2021 E-Ville Elite from Bergamont is a high-quality e-bike that stands out thanks to its carefully selected components and well-thought-out design. Priced at 4,499 EUR, this model offers excellent value for money for discerning riders. The frame is constructed from a 28-inch lite AL-6061 tube set and seamlessly integrates the Bosch PowerTube battery, resulting in a total weight of 27 kg and a maximum load capacity of 160 kg.

The braking system comprises Shimano Alfine (BR-S7000) hydraulic disc brakes with 180/160 mm SM-RT54 rotors and matching brake levers (BL-S7000). These ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT (RD-M8100) Shadow Plus and a Rapidfire Plus shifter (SL-M6100) with 12 speeds, enabling precise and rapid gear selection.

A comfortable ride is ensured by the Suntour Mobie 25 air fork with 100 mm of travel and a 15x100 mm axle. The lighting comprises a B&M IQ XS front light with 70 lux and a special LED rear light from B&M with an integrated brake light, providing additional safety on the road.

The bike is fitted with aluminium trekking pedals, a Bosch bottom bracket, an FSA CK-745 crankset with 38 teeth and a Shimano Deore cassette (CS-M6100, 10-51t). Power is transmitted via a KMC e12S chain. The BGM Pro Riser handlebars, with a 15-degree bend and a height of 5 mm, together with the BGM Comfort Ergo Double Density screw-on grips, ensure an ergonomic ride.

The stem is adjustable and the semi-integrated Acros A-Headset with a 1.5-inch diameter features integrated cable routing. The Ryde Rival 23 rims are eyeletted and fitted with Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres (55-622), which offer additional safety thanks to Smart Dual Guard and reflective strips. The hubs are by Shimano (HB-M4050 at the front and FH-MT401 at the rear) and feature CentreLock disc quick-release mechanisms.

The Selle Royal Lookin BGM Basic Athletic saddle and the BGM Pro seatpost contribute to comfort on longer rides. Mudguards made from a special BGM alloy with stainless steel struts, as well as a Syncros kickstand and a Racktime E-Ville Carrier luggage rack, round off the specification.

The motor, a fourth-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Cruise, delivers 250 W of power at 36 V and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures sustained performance, which is controlled via the Bosch Kiox display.
