The contract with team manager Ralph Denk has been prematurely extended by three years, as the Bora-hansgrohe team announced shortly before the start of the 106th Giro d'Italia.
The company from the kitchen sector has been involved with the cycling team since 2015. Back then, it was like looking into a crystal ball, says Denk: "Nine years later, a lot has happened and we are very proud of what we have achieved together so far, with the most important victories: the World Championship title in Bergen/Norway, the Paris-Roubaix victory and then last year's overall victory at the Giro d'Italia."
In 2022, Australian Jai Hindley won the Tour of Italy for the team. This year, the team is relying on Kämna and the Russian Alexander Vlasov as a double leader.
