The Thule OutPaceAccording to the manufacturer, the was specially developed for cyclists who value compactness and easy handling. The new carrier will be launched on the market in two versions for transporting two or three bikes. According to Thule, the OutPace is characterised by its low weight and space-saving design, which should enable easy storage in the garage or car boot.
A key feature of the new Thule OutPace is the independently movable bike arms with adjustable swivel head. According to the manufacturer, these should allow adaptation to different bicycle frames and designs with diameters of 20 to 90 millimetres. This makes the carrier suitable for all types of bikes, including compact city bikes and mountain bikes. The flexible arms in combination with straps should enable uncomplicated and safe loading. Thule states that the strap system is designed in such a way that tangles are avoided and quick fastening is possible.
With city use in mind, Thule has equipped the OutPace with a tilt function. This should make it possible to reduce the size of the carrier when parking and thus reduce the risk of damage. The OutPace has integrated lights for safety during transport. The mechanics of the carrier are also designed to ensure easy access to the boot. Mikael Österling, International Product Manager at Thule, explains: "The Thule OutPace has been developed to meet the needs of all cyclists who value comfort and performance in a compact format." With its lightweight design, tilt function and flexible arms, it is the ideal choice for anyone looking for an uncomplicated solution for bicycle transport, Österling continues.
Thule claims that the OutPace is easy to handle thanks to its low weight and practical carrying handle. It can also be easily mounted on the towbar from a vertical position. The foldable design also allows space-saving storage when the carrier is not in use. This makes the OutPace particularly attractive for users with limited storage space, explains the manufacturer.
The new Thule OutPace will be available from 3 June 2025 in two versions for two or three bikes. The manufacturer specifies a price range between 599 and 699 euros. It will be sold via authorised Thule dealers (>> such as at Bicycle XXL or Amazon) and the company's online shop. Thule has not yet published any detailed technical specifications such as the exact weight of the carrier or its maximum payload. Information on compatibility with different vehicle types is also still pending.
