As usual with Ortlieb, the bag is waterproof and equipped with clever details. A rain jacket can be strapped to the top of the bag so that it is quickly to hand. The air that builds up inside when the roll-top fastener is closed can escape through a valve. Generous reflectors and the option of attaching a rear light are useful if the tour takes longer than planned. However, the Velcro straps made of very stiff material are just long enough to fit a 31.6 millimetre post. For thicker posts, you have to improvise and extend the straps with additional Velcro.
