Pinarello Dogma 60.1
The frame of the Dogma is a sculpture with curved tubes whose shapes are reminiscent of the folds of a fine dress.

The most striking detail is the asymmetrical rear triangle, the struts of which are more massive on the chain side than on the opposite side. Pinarello explains this with the one-sided force transmission through the chain, for which the frame is perfectly designed. To make the whole thing look coherent, the fork blades also have different diameters. The frameset is comparatively heavy within the test field, but compensates for this with high stiffness values. As soon as you start pedalling, it becomes clear that the Dogma is a pure racer. At the same time, the bike doesn't ride unruly hard at all. The equipment with Campa's "Super Record" groupset and an extravagant carbon handlebar/stem unit with a paint finish to match the frame rounds off the good impression. The carbon wheels for clincher tyres come from French specialist Corima. At 1,564 grams, they are quite heavy for this material, but still stiff enough even for heavy riders. The cool paint finish, which varies in colour somewhere between green and grey, is one of numerous colour options that Pinarello makes possible in its state-of-the-art paint shop in Treviso.
