Consistently trimmed for racing. Good all-round characteristics. Good aerodynamics with fast wheels.

The Aeroad CF was the most ridden Canyon model in the Katjuscha team in 2013. The pros particularly appreciate the geometry with the short head tube, which allows a race-like riding position. With low-set seat stays and a strongly tapered head tube, the frame clearly stands out from the competition in terms of design. An original but not absolutely necessary detail are the front dropouts, which allow fine adjustment of the fork trail in three stages. To be really fast, the frame needs fast wheels. In the last wind tunnel test, the aero performance was still mediocre; this time with fast 404 wheels, we managed to catch up with the top group. Riding stability isn't as high as you'd expect from Canyon, but it's not critical. On the other hand, the aero seatpost surprises with a high level of suspension comfort.
