Aero expertise from Spain: The G6 frame is one of the leading models on the market in terms of aerodynamics. However, there are slight compromises in terms of riding stability and comfort. Only five sizes available.

Of all the models in the test, the G6 from the Spanish brand BH comes closest to the idea of a classic aero racer. The frame is characterised by narrow, highly profiled tubes with harmonious transitions. It is not surprising that this design does not break any stiffness records. However, the measured values are not problematic, even at full speed the bike stays on track. The seat post caused problems during the ride test. It could only be clamped securely in the extended seat tube with a lot of assembly paste and a worryingly high tightening torque on both clamping screws. Big surprise in the wind tunnel: With 346.6 watts at 45 km/h, the G6 proved to be the fastest bike in the test. In the comparative measurement with Zipp 808 wheels, the bike even comes close to our reference model, the Specialized Venge McLaren (also with Zipp 808), making it the second fastest bike we have measured so far. With this in mind, the price of the bike, which is equipped with the latest SRAM Red components, BB386evo cranks from FSA and older Zipp 404 wheels, is still acceptable.

*The aerodynamics grade is included in the overall grade with 20 per cent, the grade for the frame set with 80 per cent. Grades are calculated up to the final grade with all decimal places, but for the sake of clarity, all grades are given with rounded decimal places.
**Weighed weights.
***Manufacturer's specification, test size bold.
****Stack/Reach: projected vertical/horizontal measurement from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube; STR (Stack to Reach): Values 1.4-1.5 mean sporty riding position, below race-like, above comfortable.
